This is a place where I will share some of my philosophies about building cars.
This won’t be a “how to” page, there are plenty of people out there doing that already, but I will share my process. I will probably share some details or parts or processes that I’ve particularly enjoyed for one reason or another. It’s hard to say what I might find interesting on any given day.
It is my intention to use this blog to show the progress on our hand built car we are about to start on. Let me just point out that I will jump between “I” and “we”, they are interchangeable terms referring to Rebecca and I. Although I am the guy on the tools, Rebecca is as much a part of this as I am. It is only the two of us here, we don’t have any other staff.
I won’t be posting at regular intervals. I may post several times in a week, then go a month or more without any updates. The focus is not on building a following. We expect the readers are here either because they heard of me and what I do, and want to know more about me, or they already know me and just want to see what I am up to. I will still post on Facebook and Instagram, but social media isn’t really my thing. I don’t create content, I create cars. Likes and thumbs up don’t motivate me, creating a beautiful piece of machinery motivates me.
Because I am not a media creator, these posts may not necessarily be the best format. I try to make them easy to understand and follow, but there may be times when I’m simply not sure how to wind it up, or how to title them so it may just end before you are ready. I’m not going to spend a bunch of time editing them to perfection.
